Summer Symmetry / SLJ / Week 5

  -- SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY --

Task Description:
Hola everyone! Here is a delayed blog post from Tuesday for the Summer Learning Journey. For this task we had to pick some photos of our choice and use it to create a collage. With our images they had to have some sort of symmetry in it. On the side we had to write down how many line of symmetry each picture had in it. In my collage most of them had one line of symmetry but the only one that had two lines of symmetry was the butterfly. Butterfly's  are common for have symmetry on it.  Check it out!

( DISCLAIMER : These picture are free just for those who weren't sure )

  1. Kia ora Deborah,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey.

Great work completing the Summer Symmetry activity. You have put together an awesome collage of different shapes and shown the line of symmetry for each - ka pai! Butterflies are a great example of symmetry in nature. What other symmetrical objects do you think you might find in nature?

Did you see the Step it Up component of this activity, where you get to make your own art and identify the lines of symmetry? I think you would really enjoy it! You will earn extra points too!

    Keep up the awesome mahi.

    Mā te wā,

    Fiona (SLJ).
