Te Reo: Tongan Traditional Song

𝕋𝕖 ℝ𝕖𝕠: 𝕋𝕠𝕟𝕘𝕒𝕟 𝕃𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕦𝕒𝕘𝕖 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝕊𝕠𝕟𝕘 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Malo e lelei everyone! This is day four of Tongan language week this week and is Thursday. As it is Thursday some of you may know that on Thursday is the day of the week that the year sevens go tech and the year 8s do rotations. But again, we are still currently in lock down just for you's who don't know. Instead of doing rotations we just do Te Reo Maori. As this weeks Te Reo Maori lesson we had our task based on Tongan language week this week. For that we had a Traditional Tongan song that we all went through together during our online session. As our task, we had to go off when the meeting was finish and learn the lyrics of the song. I'm Tongan and I know how to read some of the words which made it easier and plus, I already knew the song so that was good. But if you are wanting to try and learn this song just watch the video on the slide and perhaps try learning the lyrics on the next slide . Also, if you want to know what the lyrics mean in English just scroll down to the last slide and it will be there. Check it out!

Tech/Graphics: Design Brief

 𝕋𝕖𝕔𝕙/𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕡𝕙𝕚𝕔𝕤: 𝔻𝕖𝕤𝕚𝕘𝕟 𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕗 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! As this weeks Tech class session on google meet yesterday we just worked on this which would give us a better way of thinking of who we would make our clock for in Graphics. This made it easier because then once we return back to school and we are able to attend our tech classes physically then we would already know who were making it for. What we had to do was list five people we would pick out of to make a clock for. Here are my options as you can see on the left. And on the right some things about them that could hopefully give a better way to think of the design of the clock. Using the things we wrote down for each person and about them we could use it for the person we picked to corroborate what they like into the design of the clock. But at the end I decided to make mine for my nana (Grandmother). Check it out!

DMIC: Vectors !

 𝔻𝕄𝕀ℂ: 𝕍𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕤 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Malo e lelei everyone! Its Tongan Language week. It is Week 7 and to start the week off we began with some math for the first meet. For math this week we have here called Vectors as our main topic as I know of for just this task and more of the  coordinates. For this task we had some algebra connected to it which was pretty interesting. It was super simple because all we had to do was find on the chart we were given what x was a y. And since it is Tongan language week, at the end was the last slide and it showed a map of Tonga. And so what we had to do was find the victor for each place we were told to look for. Check it out!

Tech - Graphics: Types of Clocks

𝕋𝕖𝕔𝕙 - 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕡𝕙𝕚𝕔𝕤: 𝕋𝕪𝕡𝕖𝕤 𝕠𝕗 ℂ𝕝𝕠𝕔𝕜𝕤 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! As you have seen from the most recent blog post today before this one I shared with all of you a slide show showing what we did first for our tech class. I've just moved from robotics to Graphics now and here is the task we were ask to complete independently because with the other one we all just had fun ith together. For this task we had to click on a link to a google drawing template and what we had to do was insert different images of different clocks or ways of telling time. With that we had to show what each clock was called. This is my completed work. Check it out!

Tech - This is US!!!

𝕋𝕖𝕔𝕙 - 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕡𝕙𝕚𝕔𝕤: 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕚𝕤 𝕌𝕊!!! / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! Today as it is Tuesday we would usually have tech but since we are in lock down level four we are not able to physically attend our tech class so we had to do it virtually like ever other class we usually attend. We had some problems and confusion at the start with meetings which took up most of our lesson time so we did this little task altogether. It had different slides asking for our favorite color, where we come from and our favorite food. We all just added in images into each slide. Its was a bit messy so some one organised it a bit to make it look less confusing as it was before. So basically we had to not make a copy of the slide and just work all together on it adding one image per person. And that is the reason there is different type of images. So don't think this is all mine its all of my tech groups one. Check it out!

Week 6 - Kei hea Koe?

 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟞 - 𝕂𝕖𝕚 𝕙𝕖𝕒 𝕂𝕠𝕖? / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟞 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! Here is our task for our rotations for when the year sevens go tech but since were currently in lock down we can't physically do that so we did it virtually like we have been doing with our classes. This is our te reo task and it is called 'Kei hea Koe?' which translated in English is 'Where are you?'. For this task we had to just complete it by reading and translating the words for us to understand what it means and have a better understanding. But yeah, for this task we just did what we always do for our te reo tasks. Check it out!
