Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today is Friday and as some of you may know this is the day when we have electives. For those who don't know what electives is its where we get options of meetings we can attend that is run by each teacher in our team. We have recently started this thing ever since being in lock down. Through out the weeks I have been joining in with drama with Ms.Hill because its been really fun. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! I'm not sure If some of you may know but this week our team all have a main focus for this week. We had got given two tasks to try and complete over this week. One being our literacy one and Maths one. This is our literacy one and for those who don't know our focus is 'just dance'. For this task we focused on a popular Just Dance video towards the song Waka waka by: Shakira. This task had different things from questions to bonus create tasks for points. Check it out!

Hauora Talk - MERRY HEART = GOOD MEDICINE

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today's meeting schedule went like this. As always our first meeting was our team meeting and then our second one was extension meeting which was only for the extension people. The last meeting we had for the day was our Hauora talk. If some of you remember from last week you would know something we have just started which is our 'Hauora talk' meeting. This weeks session was based on a verse called 'Proverbs 17:22 - A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones'. We all had a talk about this special verse and the meaning of it. Skipping through to the ending where we un-muted our mics one by one sharing what we had learn't during the session. Check it out!

Challenge Cybersmart 24: Replying to comments

Kia ora everyone! This blog post is Cybersmart Challenge 24. This challenge was based all around on replying to comments. Adding on to that we were focusing on the main keys when replying back to a positive comment you had receive. They are Thank you, which is when you thank the person for leaving the comment. And second being and Answer which can be sometimes because sometimes people ask a question so you answer that as well. Lastly Question, this is when you could add in a question your self perhaps involving the topic of the task or something else. After that we had a go replying to a person called john and his comment. At the end we had to share some screen shots of some comments we replied back to using the three key components. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today is Tuesday and is tech day. As you may seen for tech for those who don't we are in graphics now. Last week we had a go a drawing A teacher from our school that was on our meeting and this week we made a name tag. Doing this we had to go through different things. With this we got to use the shapes, workplane tool, align button, sizing shapes and more. This was a more difficult one from last weeks one which I have blogged this week. So take a look at that. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Sorry for the delay but Yesterday we did a task for reading which I sadly couldn't complete Yesterday which is why it has been delayed. But here it is now completed and on my blog for you to check out. For this task we read a short book called 'The River'. It is about a boy who is visiting his dad who lives in England. This book has to do with a river that is polluted which is the only thing I can say about the book so you can check it out for yourself. With the information we got from the book we used it to answer the questions. At the end we had to complete a quick create task so I recommend you checking it out. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Today for the afternoon block we didn't do much. But we did still do something and that was to first create a google drawing that has fishs underwater but with shapes. It wasn't really I task that would take a whole day which is why I liked it because how simple it was. Check it out!

Tech Cooking!!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! For the past few weeks this term we have been doing cooking for tech in my group. I sadly forgot to post the other things we made last week and the previous ones but I can tell you we made something great last week which was why I was excited to see what we would be making this week. Today we made a mince dish with onions, garlic, salad and carrots. This was very easy to make. We first had to dice the carrots, onions and garlic. After we turned on the stove and got our pan ready by pouring some cannola oil on. We added in our onions and garlic in and afterwards added our mince. Once the mince was brown we knew it was cooked so then we added in our diced carrots. After a while of mixing the mince we offed the stove and got our salad ready. Wasn't that easy. My buddy was Bradley  and we really enjoyed making this. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today for our writing we did a very quick task. When I mean quick I mean thirty seconds. What we had to do for this writing task was reconstruct the paragraphs in order. Once we've organised the paragraphs into how we think it goes we had to change the conclusion paragraph and introduction paragraph into green and purple. Check it out!

Maori Stage Polyfest: Level 3

 

Task Description: Kia ora and greetings. Math this week as you know has been based on Maori language  week. My teachers have created a math level that goes up from level 2 to level 4. I've only gotten up to level 3 but that's okay. I deleted the other question just because I was a bit stuck but I still wanted to share it on my blog. Don't worry, I still have the first questions on.

Game Master!

 

Task Description: This week we had a fun activity with game masters. We had to work our way from level one to level six. We managed to complete the game with a victory because of the great team work we had going. This was a great game and I had really enjoyed it.
