Kia ora everyone! You may have seen a blog post I posted before this which is apart of my literacy task for this week. Here is another blog post together with it which is with one of our bonus tasks. This I decided to blog this which was for one of my questions. What we had to do was study the lyrics in waka waka and pick parts of the song you found catchy or liked. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! I'm not sure If some of you may know but this week our team all have a main focus for this week. We had got given two tasks to try and complete over this week. One being our literacy one and Maths one. This is our literacy one and for those who don't know our focus is 'just dance'. For this task we focused on a popular Just Dance video towards the song Waka waka by: Shakira. This task had different things from questions to bonus create tasks for points. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Today is Monday and it is week 2 of term 3. Today for the morning block we had literacy and we had to complete this task for the day. We had to read a book titled 'The Promise'. It was about a group of kids that were in a bunker after a gas bomb had exploded. Using the information we had from the book we used it to answer the questions. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today for literacy we had finally got to the end of the jacket and we had to complete the last task. The ending of the story was when Phil went over the Daniels house and gave the Jacket back and apologized and they both said sorry. For this task we had to do the same with everyone and use the information we got from the last chapter and answer the questions. Check it out!

This morning we started the block with some literacy and continued with the Jacket task. This is part two and for this task we learn't a whole lot about the different conflicts. The Jacket 🧥

Task Description:

kia ora everyone! Today for literacy we read a book that was called 'The Jacket'. This book is about a boy called Phil who's brother forgot his money for school so then Phil was on a mission to give it to his little brother. Phil was stressed because he would be late for Math class and if he does then he thought he would fail math class and that won't be good. But Phil thought about it and decided to go take the money. He was in the area of the school where his little brothers year was located in the school. He saw an African American boy wearing a jacket the same as the one his little brother owns and form there on started an argument. After reading the book we had to complete the task with the information we got. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today for literacy we got given a reading task to complete. We Read two things and the first one was called Ring Ring by Diana Noonan which is a book and Leap by Selina Powell which is a poem. With the information we got from the book we used it to answer the questions. These were all great questions about the book and I overall felt like understand most bits of this text. At the end we had a create task and for it we got given choices. We had to pick one of them and create a slide so check that out and its just the last slide. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! For today's Literacy task we go given a reading one called 'Alvin and Me'. We read two books for this task and they were called 'Alvin and Me" and 'Hushed', which had really good understanding's to them. With all the information we got from the books we used them to answer the questions. After answering the questions for both the books under them were a space for us to write a brief summary of the book. As our create task we had to create a story board using the information we got as well as the picture's in the book. Kia ora everyone! Sorry for the delay but Yesterday we did a task for reading which I sadly couldn't complete Yesterday which is why it has been delayed. But here it is now completed and on my blog for you to check out. For this task we read a short book called 'The River'. It is about a boy who is visiting his dad who lives in England. This book has to do with a river that is polluted which is the only thing I can say about the book so you can check it out for yourself.
