Kia ora everyone! As part of this weeks math tasks we had to complete three different tasks and this is one of them. They are all based on Algebra which is our focus this week for maths. This task was a very small and fast task. Olympic Rotations: Ancient Olympic Games!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! This week our teachers decided to do rotations where each week on a day every class rotates classes. In the different classes we would learn something new having to relating to the Olympics since right now are the Olympics. Today was the first rotation and we focused on the 'Ancient Greek Olympics'. This took us back to the Ancient Olympics the Greeks had. What we had to do for this task was simple. All we had to do was make a template/poster about the Ancient Greek Olympics. Check it out!

This task was very simple because all we had to do was fill in a word using the one slide that had the words to the colors in te reo. This task was based upon space and satellites. There was a video and article given to us to watch and read. The article and video were based on the time when Germany and America had a sort of competitive race on who could launch a satellite to space first that will be successful. Spelling Test Scramble Sentence!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today as it is Friday we were supposed to be doing our spelling test for the week but we didn't get given one for this week so the teachers decided to do a spelling test scramble. How this works is the teacher picks different words for us and for each word they misplace the letters in the word. Our job is that we have to try and figure out the word. Doing that with all the words at the end the teacher shares with everyone the correct word and then we have to mark it. As our task we had to use the words we used in the spelling scramble and create a sentence using the words. Check it out!
