Summer Picnic / SLJ / Week 6

   -- SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY -- 

Task Description: 

Kia ora everyone! Here is another late blog post from Friday last week. What we had to do for this task we had to pack a picnic bag and have a picnic. Instead of really packing food that was from the super market or in my cup board I just baked some cookies. I hope you guys liked this post. This is the last blog post for the SLJ and that's why I decided to spice it up a bit.

Pixel Art / SLJ / Week 6

  SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY -- 

Task Description: 

Kia ora everyone! Here is another late post from Wednesday yesterday. For this task we had to make something we love about summer using an online app you can use to to freehand draw pictures using pixels and that is called Pixel Art. It took a very long time and I'm so glad I've finished it. I am very proud of the end results. So what I have created here is a beach and is something I love about summer. Just being able to go to the beach with family / Church youth is the best. We love playing volleyball and doing these dun activity's. I've actually had experience with pixel art so this is very familiar to me. I had so much make things with pixels that I actually posted it on my blog. Check it out.

Mondrian / SLJ / Week 6

    -- SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY -- 

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Here is another late post from Wednesday last week. For this task we got to learn about a new artist called Piet Mondrian who is one of the most greatest artist of the 20th century. His famous art peaces can be seen on runways and other paintings. His design of painting has caught many attractions around the world that it has became a type of style on clothing. And so we had to do was create our of  mondrian which was kind of hard at a time by I managed to complete it. I hope you like it. Tell me your feed back about this task in the comment section.

 Kia ora everyone! Sorry again for the long wait again I have been pretty busy but here is Tuesdays activity from last week. What we had to do was create a slide show containing ten different songs you can listen to during summer. I didn't know what songs to pick so I just picked random ones. Task Description:

Hey everyone! This is Monday's task and what we had to do was start a poster. With this we got given a slide show of an article about a type of fish called a trigger fish, Or is it even a fish :0 ... As well as the slide we were given a video for us watch on five ways to find fake news. With that we had a picture of the fish and what we had to do was pretty much investigate and see if the fish so called a trigger fish was real or not. With the poster we had we were to write down how we knew it was fake or how it was real. Check it out!

Build a Super Seesaw with Deborah / SLJ / Week 6

Task Description:

Welcome everyone! Sorry for the delay, But this is the first task for week 6 and it is our Nano girl task. This weeks Nano girl task we had to build a Super Seesaw. With the screencastify video site we were to make a video of ourself trying it out. On this slide show I have here it contains what you need to make the seesaw as well as the video for this task I made of me creating the project. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! This is a task from last week post for Friday but I've been pretty busy so your seeing it the following week. For this task we had to create a map by going on to our google drive and pressing on new where it gave us different things such as google drawings, slides and the map. We had to make our own little trip around New Zealand marking 15 locations on the map. Once we've finished we had to choose some colours to go with it. Check it out!

For this task I was a bit excited because we got to make some beats and rhythm by using this site called Chrome Music Lab. With this site we were able to make some music which was the whole part of this task. I had a great time trying out different sounds and beats. Summer Symmetry / SLJ / Week 5

Task Description:

Hola everyone! Here is a delayed blog post from Tuesday for the Summer Learning Journey. For this task we had to pick some photos of our choice and use it to create a collage. With our images they had to have some sort of symmetry in it. On the side we had to write down how many line of symmetry each picture had in it. In my collage most of them had one line of symmetry but the only one that had two lines of symmetry was the butterfly. Butterfly's  are common for have symmetry on it.  Check it out!

Namaste everyone ! It is week five now. Sorry for the delay but this post was from yesterdays and as always we start the week with a project by Nanogirl. This weeks project was an experiment that involved water. This slide show contains what you need for this and a video of me trying the experiment out. If you are interested in trying this out yourself try and be careful when using the scissors and plastic because if not you could end up getting a cut. Check it out!

Hello everyone! This is Friday's task for week four and what we had to do was make a collage using google drawings. After we got our google drive ready we had to choose some pictures on the internet that showed what we enjoyed during summer. All these pictures represent what I love during summer. For example: The photo with the pictures pinned up on the line represents the memories I make. The one with the people with shopping bags represent shopping and the one with the hammock represents relaxation. I hope you guys like how it looks. I loved how this task was simple and very fun to do.

Good Morning / Afternoon! Today's task is from Thursday and what we had to do was look into places in New Zealand that you could visit as well as share as a place you may enjoy. I have not been on a vacation to anyplace in New Zealand besides where I live in Auckland, So that's why I will be promoting a place I found like was very beautiful and wonderful for people to know about. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Here is another catch up activity from this week, and was on Wednesday. This is a te reo task so this is based on Maori words. The main goal on this task is to try and learn how to say ice cream flavors and more. Making a Cup And Saucer with String / SLJ / Week 4

Task Description:

Hey guys! this is the other task for Monday and what we did was read a book about two siblings who were stuck in their house because it was raining. They told their aunty that they were very bored and didn't know what to do. Their aunty said to them " you could play a game " Aunty handed them a ball of string. The two siblings made different patterns with the string. Making the patterns with the strings kept them occupied. So now you know a bit of what the story is about now I'm going to be talking to you about what we had to do for the activity. So what we had to do was create a Cup and Saucer using some string. I got a quick hand of it and found it super enjoyable. Here is a slide show of how it turned out. Check it out!
