Kia ora everyone! For those who don't know, it is Maori Language week. Happy Maori language week everyone. For today's meeting schedule our only meeting besides our team meeting was our Hauora Talk which we have never done but I think we are going to start doing that now. There were two meetings for this and what it was was that the boys had there own meeting and the girls had there meeting with Mrs Tele'a. Before beginning the meeting Mrs Tele'a and Mrs Hall asked us questions and we had to rate what we were feeling about it out of ten. After that we watched a video about the Samaritans. The main part of the video was that a man was hurt on the floor and some very important people just walked past. It was then when a Samaritan man came along and helped the men and took him somewhere so he could get better. At the end we all had a long and fun talk about it. We all went one by one sharing our ideas which was really good because we could see each others different perspectives. There were more we talked about but you would be reading this for very long so we will cut it to the important parts. In But at the end we all unmute at a time sharing a thing we learn't and something we would do today as a good Samaritan. I said, "What I've learn't today is to treat people the way you would like to be treated and what I would do today is lend some help to my mum with anything around the house." And that is all from today's meeting. Check it out!

Task Description:
Malo e lelei everyone! This is day four of Tongan language week this week and is Thursday. As it is Thursday some of you may know that on Thursday is the day of the week that the year sevens go tech and the year 8s do rotations. But again, we are still currently in lock down just for you's who don't know. Instead of doing rotations we just do Te Reo Maori. As this weeks Te Reo Maori lesson we had our task based on Tongan language week this week. For that we had a Traditional Tongan song that we all went through together during our online session. As our task, we had to go off when the meeting was finish and learn the lyrics of the song. I'm Tongan and I know how to read some of the words which made it easier and plus, I already knew the song so that was good. But if you are wanting to try and learn this song just watch the video on the slide and perhaps try learning the lyrics on the next slide . Also, if you want to know what the lyrics mean in English just scroll down to the last slide and it will be there. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! As this weeks Tech class session on google meet yesterday we just worked on this which would give us a better way of thinking of who we would make our clock for in Graphics. This made it easier because then once we return back to school and we are able to attend our tech classes physically then we would already know who were making it for. What we had to do was list five people we would pick out of to make a clock for. Here are my options as you can see on the left. And on the right some things about them that could hopefully give a better way to think of the design of the clock. Using the things we wrote down for each person and about them we could use it for the person we picked to corroborate what they like into the design of the clock. But at the end I decided to make mine for my nana (Grandmother). Check it out!

Well that was the first task for math this week and so this is the second and last one. For this task we had a mix of Vectors and Coordinates. There was a lot of slides but not as much to complete. But overall this task was a great mix of both coordinates and vectors which have been our main focus for math lately. Luckily from the other tasks we have had involving these two topics I've learn't from it making this task more understanding. Check it out!

Task Description:
Malo e lelei everyone! Its Tongan Language week. It is Week 7 and to start the week off we began with some math for the first meet. For math this week we have here called Vectors as our main topic as I know of for just this task and more of the  coordinates. For this task we had some algebra connected to it which was pretty interesting. It was super simple because all we had to do was find on the chart we were given what x was a y. And since it is Tongan language week, at the end was the last slide and it showed a map of Tonga. And so what we had to do was find the victor for each place we were told to look for. Check it out!

Persuasive Writing: Malala Yousafzai

ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕦𝕒𝕤𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕎𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘: 𝕄𝕒𝕝𝕒𝕝𝕒 𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕒𝕗𝕫𝕒𝕚 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟟 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! Today I'll be sharing you a lovely piece of writing about a wonderful woman who goes by 'Malala Yousafzai'. Throw out last week and this week my literacy has been working on this and today you will be able to see mine. What we were instructed to do was to create a persuasive piece of writing based on a super hero. Not the super hero you think but a person who we think is a super hero in there own way. For example: Civil hero's such as Malala her self, Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks. It's really just people who have done amazing things and have fought for their rights. As my hero I wanted it to be different from everyone else's and I decided to write about Malala Yousafzai. Check it out!
