Kia ora everyone! As apart of this weeks task for reading we had to complete this task which is titled 'Turbulance'. In this task we read a book that is titled Turbulance and is about a boy experiencing Turbulance as hes on the plane going to visit his dad. For this task we learn about Turbulance which is the one we experience on the plane and use the information from the book to answer questions. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today is Thursday and I know I haven't been blogging lately which I apologize. But here is a task we have recently started for this week and is a reading task from literacy. This task was based upon space and satellites. There was a video and article given to us to watch and read. The article and video were based on the time when Germany and America had a sort of competitive race on who could launch a satellite to space first that will be successful. And after that we had to complete and answer questions. Check it out!

Spelling Test Scramble Sentence!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today as it is Friday we were supposed to be doing our spelling test for the week but we didn't get given one for this week so the teachers decided to do a spelling test scramble. How this works is the teacher picks different words for us and for each word they misplace the letters in the word. Our job is that we have to try and figure out the word. Doing that with all the words at the end the teacher shares with everyone the correct word and then we have to mark it. As our task we had to use the words we used in the spelling scramble and create a sentence using the words. Check it out!

The ending of the story was when Phil went over the Daniels house and gave the Jacket back and apologized and they both said sorry. Task Description:

Kia ora and Malo e lelei everyone! Welcome, today I'll be sharing with you all a special event that pt England school held on Thursday the 3d of June which was this week. This so event we call 'Fiefia' is an event that has been going on in Pt England school for a while and is very special to us. This event happens every two years which means it was supposed to happen last year but due to covid that wasn't able to happen. We were lucky enough to have it this year which I was very happy about since it was my last year. For those who don't know what we do with this event what we do is there are different groups that we are put into that will share a special performance on that specific day. I was in the Tongan girls group which I was happy about because I am Tongan and with this I could embrace my culture. The night was so fun and I can tell everyone was excited because of the amount of people that came. Don't worry, I live in a country that is okay with covid and so we were all safe. Check it out!
