Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! I don't think I have told you guys this but I am currently in our school holiday and usually I would have been blogging but we have been pretty busy and I haven't been very doing much exciting to blog about. But yesterday was a public holiday and I actually did something and I decided to share it with you all so I could have at least blogged something during the holidays. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today for literacy we got given a reading task to complete. We Read two things and the first one was called Ring Ring by Diana Noonan which is a book and Leap by Selina Powell which is a poem. With the information we got from the book we used it to answer the questions. These were all great questions about the book and I overall felt like understand most bits of this text. At the end we had a create task and for it we got given choices. We had to pick one of them and create a slide so check that out and its just the last slide. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Today for literacy we got given an extra task to complete after we had all finished our main work. For this task we watched a quick video about the war and how it all went. After that we had to create a google drawing of facts. It wasn't really much to do for this task because it was meant to be quick and short which was why I enjoyed it. Check it out!

The Evolving Flea!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today we did literacy for the morning. We worked on this task all about fleas and had facts sharing information about it. I loved this task because I learn't something new. We read a book about flea's and using the information we got from the book we used it to answer the questions. At the end we had a create task and what we had to do was label the body parts on a flea. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today is Monday and it is week 11. As it is nearly ANZAC day we are starting the day by doing some tasks in our home class involving ANZAC day. This is the first task done and completed. What we had to do for this task was find out the meaning for each word on here and write it down in it's box. Home Work: Different Pacific Patterns!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! As apart of this weeks homework for our inquiry bit we had to look into Pacific patterns from different islands such as Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, Niue and more. I choose Tonga as it is my culture and so the reason to why I choose was so then I could share a piece of my culture and so you can learn a bit more of my background. These Pacific patters tell a whole lot about us and who we are. These patterns go back to our ancestors where they used these to tell stories which is why these are very important to us. This was a great inquiry task for home work this week and I'll really enjoyed it. Check it out!

Alvin and Me!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! For today's Literacy task we go given a reading one called 'Alvin and Me'. We read two books for this task and they were called 'Alvin and Me" and 'Hushed', which had really good understanding's to them. With all the information we got from the books we used them to answer the questions. After answering the questions for both the books under them were a space for us to write a brief summary of the book. As our create task we had to create a story board using the information we got as well as the picture's in the book. Boat Animation!!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Since it was Friday today the whole day we were in our home class. During our time in our home class we had to complete a cybersmart task. This challenge enabled us to use google presentation's to create an animation of a boat moving across the sea. Fun fact, I've actually done this before. I'm pretty sure it was in year six and I enjoyed it very much. This task was fun and simple and easy to complete. Check it out!

Revising Fractions and Decimals!

Kia ora everyone! As apart of this weeks math we got given this math task to complete. It was an okay task since we've done something similar before. Today is Friday and it is just a day of finishing off work so this is one of them. I haven't been able to complete my tasks this week because of sports but today I hope I can complete all of them. Kia ora everyone! Today for the afternoon block we were just in home class. Our task for home class was a cybersmart task. What we learn't about in this task was learning to charge our Chromebook correctly by using the USB-C Port and Power connector. All we had to do was match the labels with the correct number.
