    1. Thank you Mrs Collins for the lovely comment I have received from you. I see you have asked me a question saying which was my favorite to complete. Well, Through out the time making this blog post My favorite Activity to do was the background of my culture, Why because I got to show people where my cultures come from and the cultures that my parents hold in their family.. And yes SLJ has been very fun making and interesting. Also thank you for giving your time to read my blog post.

  2. Kia ora Deborah,

It is lovely meeting you! I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?

This is my first year joining the Summer Learning Journey, and I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs.

I’m really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time at the beach and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks and I absolutely love cooking and baking. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?

I love how much effort you put into your first blog post! I can't wait to see your next up-and-coming blog posts! :)

I really enjoyed reading about your culture and background. Have you and your family had the opportunity to visit Samoa or Tonga before? Also, what is some of the most important things you treasure about your culture? I'd love to know :)

I am loving all the images you have chosen for each activity. My favourite is activity 1 because of how colourful it is! Where did you get the image of the chips from?
