History of Flying Machines



About one thousand years before Jesus was born, someone invented kites that can left man’s in the sky. About 900 years later a king jumped of a church in england with wing attached on his arm he took a big jump then he died. About 500 years ago a man called leonardo da vinci the inventor and artist. He drew many designs for flying machines. But the design were not found for 400 years. Intell this day now. In 1843, George Cayley published his design for his latest invention called a biplane. He also identified the four forces of flight which is lift, weight, drag, and thrust,. Sixty years later the wright brothers made the first recorded powered, sustained and controlled flight in any flying machine in a america. In 1930 the frankwittle a british inventor he designed the first turbojet engine. 40 years later the first 747 jumbo jet was invented it’s first flight carrying a passenger from New york to London. Fast-forward 40 years 2011 new zealander Glenn Martin, invented a jetpack it is a small flying invention that he made. In the same year the first flying car was invented I was shocked when I heard about this I thought it wasn’t real but it is.
