Electives: Drama

Task Description:
Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! We have come to an end of week one of term 4. It is Friday today and our teachers decided to continue Electives which I was really about cause I really enjoy electives. As always I joined Drama again with Ms Hill. We played lots of fun games involving drama/acting. It was super fun and entertaining. Check it out!

Te Reo Maori: 4.5 He aha te utu?

Task Description:
Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! Today is Thursday the 21st of October and as it is Thursday we had te reo Maori apart of our meeting time table for the day. Today's meeting time table wasn't that busy and all we had was math and te reo. This weeks focus for te reo is 'He aha te utu?' which is What does it cost?. We had sentences with missing words for us to fill in using the first two slides showing different words we could use. Check it out!

Task Description:
Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! Today is Wednesday and as you know today is when we have our Hauora session. Just for those who don't know this is a meeting session where the girls and boys split so it was just us girls and Miss Setefano my teacher who lead the session. Following on with Ms Tipene and Miss hill. Today's focus was on 'Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.' The teachers made up different scenario's for us and we answered them and what e would do. Check it out!

Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! Sorry for the delay of this blog but for those who don't which I'm pretty sure is majority of you's this week is Niuean language week. Niue is a island in the pacific ocean near Tonga, Samoa and the cook islands. Niue is a beautiful island as well as a beautiful culture. From traditional dances to traditional songs Niue has it all. But anyways Happy Niue Language week you all. Check it out!

Tech/Graphics - Color Theory

Task Description:
Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! Today is Tuesday and is tech day for us year eights. This is the first tech of the term which was really exciting. Last term we mostly did tinker-cad where me made different things such as a house, compass and more. Today we did something different and worked on this slide which was based on colors. Not normal shades of colors we use but different shades. We did this by using a site called Coolors which you can find different shades of color by pressing the space button. We also learn't knew things such as Complementary Pairs, Analogous, Monochromatic and Split Complementary which you can check out on the last slide. This was a great task that I enjoyed because I had learn't something new. I hope you check this out and hopefully could learn something knew. Check it out!

Task Description:
Faakalofa lahi atu everyone! Here is the second and last slide from this task. If you haven't seen the first slide for this one go and take a look at it. With the other slide we worked with 2D shapes and with this we worked with 3D shapes. What we had to do in this task was find the volume. And again I wasn't quite sure if I did this correctly but I tried. Check it out!

I don't think I told you this but this week we have multiple math tasks to complete and this is slide 1 for the first one. This slide that I a currently working on is based all around on Areas and perimeters of 2D and 3D shapes. I'm not extremely confident that I had done this correctly but tried my best. Check it out!

Olympic Rotations: Ancient Olympic Games!!

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! This week our teachers decided to do rotations where each week on a day every class rotates classes. In the different classes we would learn something new having to relating to the Olympics since right now are the Olympics. Today was the first rotation and we focused on the 'Ancient Greek Olympics'. This took us back to the Ancient Olympics the Greeks had. What we had to do for this task was simple. All we had to do was make a template/poster about the Ancient Greek Olympics. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Welcome back, it is finally term 3 and today was the first day of school. As today was Monday and was the first day of the term we had our immersion assembly and as you might all know this is when we get to find out the topic of the term. This terms topic is 'Healthy Me! - Healthy you!'. This topic is all about our health and so for our task we had to complete for inquiry we had to answer a simple question and answer.
