Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today we rotated classes for literacy and what we got given for our task is a slide show based on writings introduction. I decided to blog the slides individually and this is the first slide of the task. For this task I had to watch a video which shared everything I need to know about the 3 parts of a introduction which are a hook, background information and thesis statement. Tongan Language Week Research

Kia ora everyone! As you may have seen from the task I blogged before this was our task for literacy that I have been working on form last week which was Tongan Language week to this week. This is the finished task. For those who don't know this week is Maori language week and last week was Tongan language week which is why this is based on Tongan Language week. Tongan Language week Creative study

Kia ora everyone! Sorry for the long wait. This task here is a task from my literacy class that we had to work on from last week to this week. This is our task based on Tongan Language week this week. For this task we had to pick topics involving the Tongan culture which was easy because I'm Tongan myself. We had to make a separate slide show which was our project for this task. Using our knowledge and google we had to try and find as much information to share with you all. At the end once we had completed the other task with our research we had to complete the last few slides for this slide show. What we had to do was just ask questions about how we felt at the end. Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! This weeks literacy class was based on Language arts and Figurative language. This involving similes, metaphor, personified's and alliteration's. With each individual slide we had for these we had to fill in sentence depending on which one out of the language arts and Figurative language we were working on. Story Fantasy Stories Piece of Writing!

Kia ora everyone! As a little task we had to complete for literacy was this. My literacy class was shown this cool thing called 'Story Fantasy Stories' by my teacher. What it did was choose a topic for us just by pressing a button. Using that topic we got given we had to write about it. There was different layouts we were able to use but I choose the notebook. Persuasive Writing: Malala Yousafzai

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Today I'll be sharing you a lovely piece of writing about a wonderful woman who goes by 'Malala Yousafzai'. Throw out last week and this week my literacy has been working on this and today you will be able to see mine. What we were instructed to do was to create a persuasive piece of writing based on a super hero. Not the super hero you think but a person who we think is a super hero in there own way. For example: Civil hero's such as Malala her self, Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks. It's really just people who have done amazing things and have fought for their rights. As my hero I wanted it to be different from everyone else's and I decided to write about Malala Yousafzai. Check it out!

Task Description:

Kia ora everyone! Yesterday we had a pretty interesting and different literacy class today. My literacy teacher, Mrs Stone bought different type of food items. My group were the first group to try them out . And so what we had to do was compare the different flavors and describe them from what we had tasted as well as the Texture . Before trying out the different food items we talked about the five main flavors and they are

Sour, Sweet , Salty , Umami and Bitter . We tasted things from salty to sweet things. At the end of this slide we had to write about the Whitaker's as if that piece of writing were to go on the back of Whitaker's chocolate. Don't for get to take a look at that. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Today for our writing we did a very quick task. When I mean quick I mean thirty seconds. What we had to do for this writing task was reconstruct the paragraphs in order. Once we've organised the paragraphs into how we think it goes we had to change the conclusion paragraph and introduction paragraph into green and purple. Check it out!
