It was then on the end of week 6 that the due date was then moved to the end of the following week which is this week. This task had multiple equations that we were given to work out. This task contained Subtracting, Addition and decimals. They were all based on different things. Through out the two weeks given to complete this task I just worked on it when I had free time. I'm happy I completed this today in time for the end of the week because it was on my goal this week to complete. That means I am able to check it off my list and goal for this week. Welcome to day three of week six. As today is Wednesday that meant we had Hauora. This is the first hauora for me back at school since this is the first week back. This weeks hauora session was based on accepting and thriving. I learn't in today's session is to step out of your inner bubble and don't listen to what people say. Adding to that, mistakes aren't bad, they are what help you to get to where you want to get. At the end of the slide we had to write a little description of our self. For some of you's you may have seen yesterdays literacy task titled 'Inferring - with poetry' which you can go ahead and take a look at. If you did and read the task description then you know that this week we had more then one literacy task for the week. This task like the other one is based on poetry which if you couldn't tell is our main focus for this week. Three different poems were given for us to read which I enjoyed because I love reading poems. Our main task for this was to write little poem sentences answering what we would do if we were Queen/King for the day. I'm not sure if I explained that well so - Check it out!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red;">( Feel free to leave a positive comment )</span></div>Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01381702378023468293noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8593410123225686790.post-37347217627852477912021-11-22T15:29:00.001+13:002021-11-23T15:44:35.500+13:00Inferring - with poetry<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red;">๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐๐ - ๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ช / ๐๐๐๐ ๐ / ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vQEIIEPfSKsKbynp_lNaUDDwXUpceF3K-7ORqx9-fNrfdMAYrAoNOXRwAOp00CihRq_pxVpb90Z9ZmE/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red;">Task Description:</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red;">Kia ora everyone! I apologize for the delay of my literacy task for this week but I've just completed it so you can take a look at it now. This week which is week five, our literacy classes returned back to normal where we went to our literacy teachers instead of our home class. For literacy this week our focus was on Poetry and specific poems titled 'The River Story' and 'Our Tree'. We had to read the poems and follow the instruction given in the slide show. Welcome to my blog, this is my first blog post for week five this week. This here is my math task which is based on Decimals and Statistics. We worked on two problems and before starting on it we went through it as a class at the start of the week. Sorry for the delay on this blog post but here it is. At the end of this slide we had a task where instead of having a math problem to solve we had to do a little..... I would say challenge. What we had to do was measure the people in our house hold with anything. Specifically said in the slide was a wooden spoon but are also aloud to use other objects. I used a brush since there wasn't a difference and because I wanted to change it up a bit. Depending on how much brushes it took to measure there height was how tall they would be with a brush or what you used. For Example, my little brother was 5 and a half brushes tall. Every year for probably about fourteen years now an event called 'Manaiaklani film festival' has been running. All the schools around our area are apart of it. Usually ever year around this time this event is held at the movies. What we would normally do with the up coming weeks our months is every school/class would make a movies that would normally share a message. But since that wasn't possible because of Covid-19, Instead people just did what they can to at least make a movie. Yesterday when the movies came out we had a home class meeting where we just watched the movies. But anyways for this task we had to watch or re-watch movies and comment on ten of them that we enjoyed. This here is my first one and it was to one of Tamaki Colleges movies based on Polyfest which is an event for the colleges. Tamaki College is the only college for this event.
