Kia ora everyone! As you may have seen from the task I blogged before this was our task for literacy that I have been working on form last week which was Tongan Language week to this week. This is the finished task. For those who don't know this week is Maori language week and last week was Tongan language week which is why this is based on Tongan Language week. The reason to why I have just blogged it now is because this task was to be worked on from last week to this week. If you want to know more go check out the recent blogged task. Check it out!

Kia ora everyone! Sorry for the long wait. This task here is a task from my literacy class that we had to work on from last week to this week. This is our task based on Tongan Language week this week. For this task we had to pick topics involving the Tongan culture which was easy because I'm Tongan myself. We had to make a separate slide show which was our project for this task. Using our knowledge and google we had to try and find as much information to share with you all. At the end once we had completed the other task with our research we had to complete the last few slides for this slide show. What we had to do was just ask questions about how we felt at the end. Check it out!

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! This weeks literacy class was based on Language arts and Figurative language. This involving similes, metaphor, personified's and alliteration's. With each individual slide we had for these we had to fill in sentence depending on which one out of the language arts and Figurative language we were working on. We also got to make our own for some of them. Check it out!

My Pepeha

𝕄𝕪 ℙ𝕖𝕡𝕖𝕙𝕒 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟠 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! I'm not sure if it was last week or the following week but on one of them my home class worked on making our own Pepeha. A Pepeha is a way of introducing oneself. Using a structure of things such as a Maunga or Awa which can identify who you are or were you come from. Its a way in the Maori culture that helps to connect with the reader and help them know a better way of where you are from and where you belong. Here is a link you can check out for more of what a Pepeha means CLICK HERE!. And here is my Pepeha. Check it out!

This is the first task for math to start off the week and what we had to do was put shapes into slots it belonged in ranging for the amount of sides it has. Something else we had to do was rotate shapes depending on what the question says for us to do like, turn the shape 90 degrees anti-clockwise. Check it out!

Hauora Talk: Be a Good Samaritan

 ℍ𝕒𝕦𝕠𝕣𝕒 𝕋𝕒𝕝𝕜: 𝔹𝕖 𝕒 𝔾𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕊𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕟 / 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝟠 / 𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕞 𝟛

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! For those who don't know, it is Maori Language week. Happy Maori language week everyone. For today's meeting schedule our only meeting besides our team meeting was our Hauora Talk which we have never done but I think we are going to start doing that now. There were two meetings for this and what it was was that the boys had there own meeting and the girls had there meeting with Mrs Tele'a. Before beginning the meeting Mrs Tele'a and Mrs Hall asked us questions and we had to rate what we were feeling about it out of ten. After that we watched a video about the Samaritans. The main part of the video was that a man was hurt on the floor and some very important people just walked past. It was then when a Samaritan man came along and helped the men and took him somewhere so he could get better. At the end we all had a long and fun talk about it. We all went one by one sharing our ideas which was really good because we could see each others different perspectives. There were more we talked about but you would be reading this for very long so we will cut it to the important parts. In But at the end we all unmute at a time sharing a thing we learn't and something we would do today as a good Samaritan. I said, "What I've learn't today is to treat people the way you would like to be treated and what I would do today is lend some help to my mum with anything around the house." And that is all from today's meeting. Check it out!
