This weeks hauora session was based on accepting and thriving. I learn't in today's session is to step out of your inner bubble and don't listen to what people say. Adding to that, mistakes aren't bad, they are what help you to get to where you want to get. At the end of the slide we had to write a little description of our self. Check it out!

This task like the other one is based on poetry which if you couldn't tell is our main focus for this week. Three different poems were given for us to read which I enjoyed because I love reading poems. Our main task for this was to write little poem sentences answering what we would do if we were Queen/King for the day. I'm not sure if I explained that well so - Check it out!

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! Welcome to my blog, this is my first blog post for week five this week. This here is my math task which is based on Decimals and Statistics. We worked on two problems and before starting on it we went through it as a class at the start of the week. Sorry for the delay on this blog post but here it is. At the end of this slide we had a task where instead of having a math problem to solve we had to do a little..... I would say challenge. What we had to do was measure the people in our house hold with anything. Specifically said in the slide was a wooden spoon but are also aloud to use other objects. I used a brush since there wasn't a difference and because I wanted to change it up a bit. Depending on how much brushes it took to measure there height was how tall they would be with a brush or what you used. For Example, my little brother was 5 and a half brushes tall. Check it out!

Task Description:
Kia ora everyone! Every year for probably about fourteen years now an event called 'Manaiaklani film festival' has been running. All the schools around our area are apart of it. Usually ever year around this time this event is held at the movies. What we would normally do with the up coming weeks our months is every school/class would make a movies that would normally share a message. But since that wasn't possible because of Covid-19, Instead people just did what they can to at least make a movie. Yesterday when the movies came out we had a home class meeting where we just watched the movies. But anyways for this task we had to watch or re-watch movies and comment on ten of them that we enjoyed. This here is my first one and it was to one of Tamaki Colleges movies based on Polyfest which is an event for the colleges. Tamaki College is the only college for this event. Check it out!
